Emilie: La Marquise du Châtelet Defends Her Life Tonight: Period Gown

For this production, I was tasked with creating the dress for the lead character, Emilie. This dress was onstage for the entirety of the show, even during intermission, meaning it would be constantly seen. It was created with two layers of silk, one as a lining and the other as the outside fabric you can see.
